Cicerchia are legumes particularly rich in protein. It is a particular legume that can be consumed from time to time without problems, in any season.
Like all legumes, Cicerchia have interesting nutritional characteristics, both for the high protein content and starch with low-fat content. They contain B vitamins, proteins, mineral salts, fibers, and polyphenols. They are a source of calcium and phosphorus.
The flavor of Cicerchia is very similar to that of the chickpeas, but even more delicate.
