Matassine is a Tuscany wine composed of a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot.

Its fermentation is done on skins for 10 days in steel containers at controlled temperature not over 26° with replacements and delestage.

It is then aged for six months in steel and wood barrels.

Annual product is about 150.000 btls. This Tuscany delight is better enjoyed with blues cheese, Gorgonzola, Cheddar and Pork dishes.
